Medium: Acrylic
Supplied with Mount Size: 20inch by 16inch (50cm by 40cm)
Upon two knolls, a canvas whispers a tale of seven trees. Three trees, in shades of purple and blue, bearing yellow canopies adorned with orange dots stand together. A similar one is hovering at the left edge of the painting. Is it just late for the gathering? Or does it prefer its own company?
Between the three trees are two sentinels, red and blue, crowned with triangular tops above cerulean cores. Confident in their appearance they are not daunted by the three trees looming over them.
A solitary tree, draped in hues of blue and red, flaunts a rounded rectangular canopy celebrating its uniqueness.
Beneath this arboreal congregation, the hillsides blaze with strata of red and yellow, nature's tapestry unfurling in vibrant strokes. The hidden yearning to connect, to find their place in the artful tapestry.
Each tree whispers of belonging, aching for visibility in the gallery of existence. In this painted world, human longing weaves through the landscape, a silent plea for connection, belonging, to be recognised.
Each observer brings their own interpretations to the canvas, weaving stories in their minds. Some see a reflection of their own desire to be noticed, to stand out amongst the crowd. Others feel a profound sense of longing, a need to belong and find their place in the world.
The hillsides below the trees are filled with intricate layers of red and yellow, symbolising the complexities of life's journey. But it is the trees that hold the visitor's attention, their silent presence demanding to be understood
